Re: The first page of document (not frontmatter) - different background

Hi Dmitry,

It is possible to set multiple values for an attribute, separating the values with the whitespace character.
In your case, you could have multiple outputclass values, like:

Code: Select all

outputclass="firstChapter before-toc"

Re: Generation of Table of contents and index page

Hi Chris, You could remove the Index references (from TOC/content/bookmarks), by using a CSS customization, like: *[class~="indexlist"]{ display: none; } *[class~="index/groups"]{ display: none; counter-reset: none; bookmark-level: 0; } This way you would remove only the Index, without using the ded...

Re: The first page of document (not frontmatter) - different background

Hello, There is no dedicated named-page for the first page of the first chapter, but you could create a named-page of your own for this use-case. More specific, you could set an "outputclass" attribute on the 1st chapter in your DITA Map / Bookmap, then match it through a CSS selector in your custom...

Hi, We have tested the latest WebHelp Responsive build and we could not find any search related issues. You can test that yourself, using the Search even from our WebHelp Responsive User-Guide, as it was generated with a recent build. Are you sure you deleted all the folders as required by the upgra...

Re: URI has an authority component

Hi, As a first remark, from the screenshot you sent, it seems you are trying to publish to CHM (probably you are using the DITA Map CHM scenario), not to PDF, so you should make sure that you are running the correct transformation scenario from the scenarios list. Then, this kind of error may occur ...

Hi,

I'm afraid that is not something that could be done.
It is not possible to have contextual counters for current page and for the total pages in each chapter.

Hello, In your customization, use: *[class~="fig--title-label"], *[class="table--title-label"]{ display: none; } Whenever you want to identify the selectors you could use in your customization CSS to match the elements you need to style, the technique (using the internet browser's CSS inspector) des...

Hello, You should use in your CSS a rule like: *[class~="index/formatted-value"], *[class~="index/refid"] { display:inline; } You could style the way the index terms are displayed in the PDF even further. For more information on styling the elements in the Index section see the Index section from th...

Manohar, Just edit the CSS-based transformation scenario that you are using to obtain the PDF and, in the "Parameters" tab of the scenario editing dialog, look for the "args.css.param.numbering". Set that parameter's value to " deep-chapter-scope-no-page-reset " and the page numbering should be cont...

Re: Connecting to .opt file in SharePoint

Hello,

The .opt publishing template descriptor file must be local. It is not possible to use it from Sharepoint.
Therefore, one approach would be to map your Sharepoint repository to a local share drive and use the publishing template from that local drive.

It is possible to dynamically change the header depending on the content in a topic. Which transformation scenario are you using?
The DITA Map PDF based on XSL-FO, or the DITA Map PDF based on HTML5 and CSS?

As you asked about the .xsl files that style the headers, am I right in supposing you are using the XSL-FO based scenario?
