Re: Custom images appear using transform in version 19 but not version 21

Hello, Yes, there may be differences between older and newer versions. However, the images should be rendered also in the new version. Sending some minimal sample files on our official technical support email (support@oxygenxml.com) could help us investigate how are you referring the images, where a...

Re: Headers/Footers for Backmatter, Not Frontmatter

Hello, At a quick look, I noticed a typo in your CSS. Once you use "docrevhist-page" and once "docrefhist-page" (notice the "f" instead of "v") *[class ~= "topic/topic"][topicrefclass ~= "bookmap/amendments"] { page: docre v hist-page; } @page docre f hist-page { background-color:silver; @top-center...

Hi Manohar, Please follow my advice and download the latest oXygen installation kit from our website. I already provided the download link in my previous reply, so you should just download it, install it in a separate folder, then use the predefined DITA Map PDF based on HTML5 and CSS scenario. Re: Linking to PDF docs fails to build webhelp output

Hello, In case you have topic references that refer non-DITA document types, then you should make sure that you set the correct format and scope attributes on the corresponding <topicref> elements. You can use the Validate and Check for Completeness action from the DITA Maps Manager view to find any...

Re: Landscape page for large tabes

Hello, We have a Tables section in the DITA-OT CSS Publishing to PDF Plugin User-Guide , which you could take a look at, as it explains how to display wide tables on landscape format pages. There is also a note in the above mentioned User-Guide page that explains how to set landscape orientation for...

Re: ::after pseudo-element not working with external links

Hi Anton, This is a specificity issue. More exactly, in the default CSS file that styles the links in the PDF output (p-links.css) there is a selector which has a higher specificity than the selector you are using in your customization CSS. Whenever your CSS customization seems to not apply on the o...

Re: Custom Notes in Webhelp

Hi, You could use CSS customization to style the note's title and icon. More specific, you could use the customization technique described in this section from the User-Guide to customize the notes' icons. Then, edit the DITA Map PDF - based on HTML5 and CSS transformation scenario and either use a ...

Re: Publishing multiple similar books in an automated sequence

Hello, From the oXygen GUI you should indeed publish the DITA Maps one by one. However, you could use the PDF Chemistry engine to publish the DITA Maps outside of oXygen, using command-line scripts of your own. More specific, publishing from command line, you could obtain the same PDF results you wo...

Hello, The selector you are trying to use is not the right one. Hi dbutch, Besides the general @page selector that you are already using in the CSS, you should also add the @page chapter:left:right:first selector into your customization CSS and use the same properties on it. Re: Overflow Wrap in Tables Overriding Hyphenation Rules

Hi Niels,

I logged this in our internal tracking system, so we will investigate if this behavior comes from the PDF reader, or if there is something we could do to make the hyphenated words searchable in the PDF.
We will update this thread once we reach to a conclusion.
