Re: Could you give an idea for help me.
Hi, I assume your framework is for the standalone Java-Swing based Oxygen desktop installation. You cannot disable the toolbar button but maybe you can show some kind of progress dialog while the thread is running. Something like: //Modal dialog JDialog msgDialog = new JDialog((JFrame)PluginWorkspac...

Re: othermeta/name/content completion framework extension
Hi, The meta.xsl stylesheet you attached is still invalid, if you open and validate it, Oxygen reports a validation error. Anyway, I made it valid, and made some more changes on my side, attaching the modifications I made on my side for the "resources" folder in the DITA Map framework exte...

Hi, Oxygen XML Editor is officially supported and tested only on Ubuntu Linux. It may work well on other Linux platforms as well but officially we have not tested it on the Linux Mint platform. We also received your video via email, I asked one of my colleagues to see if he can help you further with...

Hi, Not sure what the problem could be, could you attach a small XML file containing these characters (without any confidential info inside it) to this thread? Re: Encoding issue (question marks instead of accents)
Hi, This looks like a problem of font. Oxygen has no problems properly loading and saving non ASCII chars but if the characters themselves are not rendered, you may need to change the editing font in Oxygen to a font which can render such characters. In the Oxygen Preferences->"Fonts" page...

Hi, I'm attaching a DITA Map framework extension which works for me with Oxygen 26.1. frameworks.zip Using Oxygen 26.1 the simplest approach is to have a "cc_config_ext.xml" file with the content something like this: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/26.0/ug-editor/topics/configuring-...

Hi, Ok, so your framework seems to be bundled with your own DITA OT folder. In the Oxygen Preferences->"DITA" page you should refer this folder as the default used DITA OT folder if you want Oxygen to start using its XML catalogs for validation and to also use the custom DITA OT for publis...

Hi, Maybe you should put together a small complete sample plugin code exhibiting the problem you are facing and send it to us: https://www.oxygenxml.com/techSupport.html Just from looking at 10 lines it's hard to say what the problem is. Re: Find files with duplicate topic titles in a ditamap
Hi, We do not have such a custom action. And Schematron does not help because it is applied on each individual topic. For such an action to work you would need to collect all titles from all topics in the DITA Map. For each title you would also need to have a counter of how many times the title is r...

Re: Related links point to wrong topic sequence when using reusables
Hi,
From what I understand the DITA 2.0 standard will have an equivalent to copy-to:
https://blog.oxygenxml.com/topics/dita_ ... sheet.html
But the publishing engine does not support that yet so I guess you would need to wait on this one.
Regards,
Radu

Hi Birgit, So how is that catalog file set up? Is it referenced in your DITA extension framework configuration? If so with what path is it referenced? Do you only want to validate DITA XML files with that specific schema or also to publish them? Is your catalog part of a DITA OT plugin which needs t...

Hi Stefan,
You're Just the person I wanted to post on this thread!
Maybe you can consider creating a blog post about your translation procedure and project structure and I will link to it in the Oxygen blog which discusses translations.

Re: Are there best practices for setting up Oxygen projects in languages other than English?
Hi, We have a blog post about translating a project here: https://blog.oxygenxml.com/topics/translating_your_dita_project.html In general I think the approach with separate en/fr/de, etc folders would be the correct one, even if you end up duplicating images. Other than that you could have the "...

Hi Konrad, For the editing part you would probably need to build a custom solution by creating a custom plugin. Re: Is it possible to flag references to files outside of a project
Hi, Right, we have a topic about referencing resources outside of the DITA Map folder: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/26.0/ug-editor/topics/dita-ot-external-refs.html But it's best to avoid such a situation altogether if the resource can be copied to the proper location. Re: How to create a footer in a table (DITA)
Hi David, With DITA XML, a tgroup can only have thead and tbody, so no tfoot element exists in the DITA XML standard: https://www.oxygenxml.com/dita/1.3/specs/langRef/base/tgroup.html When converting I would advise you to take the rows from the tfoot and place them inside the tbody at the end, maybe...

Hi, I'm glad you made good progress! Hi Isabelle, The desktop version of Oxygen works in the same way, it's not a but, it's a limitation of the architecture we have. Hi,
Yes, Oxygen does not do this by default. Is it possible that you probably have some kind of DITA framework customization, set up in the past by you or maybe some organization specific customization that you set up or was set up for you after installing Oxygen?
