Name of author is saved in global options
Hi, when I enter my name in the options, I only have the choice to save it either in the global or in the project options. Both don't make sense, because my name is neither related to the global or project options. When a colleague imports the global options to his Oxygen instance, he has to change ...

Re: Searching the right approach: Specialization with RELAX
Hi Radu, thanks for your reply. Has the org.dita-ng.doctypes been tested to work with the DITA-OT 2.x? If not, that would probably be a show-stopper, because my publishing pipeline relies on that. I'm still unconfident. The last commit of dita-ng is 15 month ago. Further on, neither org.dita-ng.doct...

Searching the right approach: Specialization with RELAX NG v
Dear all, I'm currently thinking about how to specialize my DITA environment. It's some kind of greenfield project, so there's not much to care for (because nothing exists). If I'm right (please correct me, if I'm wrong), the DITA movement will (slowly) depart from the old DTD/Schema approach and RE...

Re: Creating an index using an index.ditamap and conrefs
Hi Radu, in our situation it is not necessary to reference indexterm elements from the map. We have multiple maps, but we don't have diverging indexterm elements. So we reference indexterm elements only from topics. I cannot imagine any company/use case, that requires assigning indexterm elements by...

Re: Creating an index using an index.ditamap and conrefs
Hi Radu, very interesting. Thank you very much for your engagement. I subscribed to the list. I thought it is a common practice to organize indexterms on the map, due to the mentioned white paper ( http://www.infomanagementcenter.com/members/pdfs/reprints/BP09-10JVazquez.pdf ). I don't care whether ...

Creating an index using an index.ditamap and conrefs
Hi, I have a central DITA map containing all my indexterm elements. index.ditamap <map> <title>Index</title> <topicmeta> <keywords> <indexterm id="Index_Foo">foo</indexterm> ... </keywords> </topicmeta> </map> For more information, please have a look at this whitepaper: http://www.infomana...

Re: Generating PDF comments using args.draft=yes
Hi Radu, thanks a lot for your suggestions. I'll test the trick with the DITA-Map "Print ready" styles. Very good idea. :D Maybe that fits my needs already. I have two more transformation scenarios on my todo list, this one would have a lower prio. Maybe I come back to this later on. I'd p...

Generating PDF comments using args.draft=yes
Hi, it would be nice to transform the content of the following custom CSS elements to real comments in the transformation output result: oxy_content oxy_comment oxy_delete oxy_insert I am astonished, because I could not find anything about this subject in the forum. My questions: Is it possible to p...

Hi Radu,
thanks for your input. I stop working on this, due to other prios. Maybe I'll come back to this next year.

Re: Learning and training specialization topics/elements
Hi, I am at the same point as Gary was 2 1/2 years ago. It seems to me, that nothing has changed. I'm trying to figure out, whether DITA/SCORM may be a valid technical basis for our E-learning plans. I searched for "SCORM" in this forum. The last post is older than 3 years. So it seams to ...

oxy_editor combo and attribute with namespace
Hi, I try to add an oxy_editor combo to switch values of an attribute that has a namespace. langSet:before { content: "A combo box that edits an attribute value. The possible values are provided from CSS:" oxy_editor( type, combo, edit, "@xml:lang", editable, true, values, "...

Re: How to customize the TOC of the DITA-OT-XHTML transtype
Hi Radu,
I thought the right template is the generate-toc in the map2htmltocImpl.xsl. But I cannot override it as expected.
Best regards
Stefan

How to customize the TOC of the DITA-OT-XHTML transtype
Hi, I want to create a new transformation scenario based on the XHTML transformation. I want to manipulate the TOC (the index.html ), but I could not yet figure out how to do that. Could someone please tell me which template I have to override? I'll share the transformation scenario afterwards. Than...
