Re: New functionalities for the AuthorPersistentHighlighter

Hi Simon, We´d like to have a possibility to draw a border around the XML tags, which should be highlighted and add some text before and after the hightlighted XML tag. For the next version of oXygen (14.1) we have worked on some CSS customizations that allows you to change the background and foregr...

Hi Aled, Indeed, the "Extensions" tab is added only in oXygen XML Author and oXygen XML Editor but we plan to add it also in oXygen XML Developer, in a future version. Meanwhile you can download oXygen XML Editor and use it to edit your framework (add the SchemaManagerFilter extension). Be...

Re: Custom Action for Text View, not Author View

Hello, The Author SDK can be used to add extensions for a specific document type, in Author mode. To extend the oXygen functionality for Text mode you can use the plugin SDK. Here you can find the OxygenPluginsDevelopmentKit.zip that contains the plugins SDK, javadoc and sample source codes: http://...

Re: How to change what is inserted for an element

Hi, This type of restrictions must be imposed from schema associated with document type (in your case DITA). For example, the DITA-OT schema specifies that the <p> element is optional in a <stepresult> context (see [DITA_OT_dir]/dtd/technicalContent/dtd/task.mod). So, to change the type of p child f...

Re: Is there an XSL sheet corresponding to oxygen's xml formatter?

No, there is no XSL stylesheet that could help you (A stylesheet looses character entities for instance). However, we have a feature request that is already registered in our issue tracking system, for a formatting action available on the project files. The idea is to simply select a set of files (o...

What you have to do is to create a References Resolver extension that can resolves the content referred by the DITA conref attribute. Hi, The only thing you can do to override the default Tab (or Shift+Tab) behavior in oXygen is to create a custom action for your document type and set the Tab (or Shift+Tab) shortcut for it. Here you can see our online documentation to find how to add a custom action to an existing document type: h...

Re: Adding custom font in Author view

Hi Vincent, The @font-face CSS rule is not supported yet by the oXygen Author. What you can do is to copy your font in the Windows Fonts directory and oXygen will recognize and use this font (after an application restart) like any other font already installed in your system. Best regards, Mihaela

Re: faking line break with CSS

Hi Vincent, You can use the second solution: set "display:block" for the line break element. In addition, to get rid of the space between the two lines you have to set an empty content on before pseudo-element: l { display: block; } l:before { content: ""; } Best Regards, Mihaela
