Re: Adding an attribute to every instance of an element

Hi, What you can do to be able to concentrate more on the semantics of the document is to switch to Author mode. See here the description of the Author mode of the <oXygen/> XML Editor: http://www.oxygenxml.com/wysiwyg_xml_editor.html The Outline view and XPath toolbar fields are also available for ...

Re: Adding an attribute to every instance of an element

Hi, A simple way to see a list with all the "q" elements from your document, with all other elements filtered out is to use the Outline view (if it is not visible you can open it from Window menu -> Show View -> Outline) and write "q" in the filter field found above the Outline e...

Re: Customize track changes

Hi,

If you need a code sample, you have to give me more details about your use-case.
For example, when you want to mark the text content with a different color? Do you need an action that can be executed by the user to highlight the selection?

Re: Customize track changes

Hi, No, it is not possible in 11.2 to customize the rendering of the text content found between two processing instructions. If you want to do this in oXygen version 14 you can use the ro.sync.ecss.extensions.api.highlights.AuthorPersistentHighlighter API that offers the possibility to add, manage a...

Re: Customize track changes

Hi, From what I see the AuthorPopupMenuCustomizer is available starting with version 11.2 so you can customize the popup menu entries. The PersistentHighlightRenderer was introduced in oXygen version 12. This means that there is no API available for version 11.2 to customize the appearance of the ch...

Hi, If you already have a custom document type configured then you probably have an ExtensiondBundle configured for this document type. If not, you can read the following topic from our online documentation: http://oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-editor/tasks/dg-extensions-bundle.html In your ExtensionsBundle ...

Re: ro.sync.ecss.extensions.api.node.AuthorNode#getTextContent() throws NullPointer

Hi Simon, This is a known issue and we work to fix it. The problem is that a processing instruction node has no content information the first time when the styles are applied on it. The only thing that you can do for now (until the fix is available) is to catch the NullPointerException and ignore it...

Re: New functionalities for the AuthorPersistentHighlighter

Hi Simon, Maybe you could try to just draw the border around the desired |xmlnode> to which the border belongs Indeed, the border should include only the tags of the element on which the border is set. We will take your request into consideration and we will try in the future to change this behavior...

Re: How to change what is inserted for an element

Hi, This type of restrictions must be imposed from schema associated with document type (in your case DITA). For example, the DITA-OT schema specifies that the <p> element is optional in a <stepresult> context (see [DITA_OT_dir]/dtd/technicalContent/dtd/task.mod). So, to change the type of p child f...

No, there is no XSL stylesheet that could help you (A stylesheet looses character entities for instance). However, we have a feature request that is already registered in our issue tracking system, for a formatting action available on the project files. The idea is to simply select a set of files (o...

Here you can see our online documentation to find how to add a custom action to an existing document type: h...
