Re: White space is added in the ToC where the element is "display:none"

Hello Paul,

Instead of hiding the navtitle of your PROM entries from the TOC, you should try to hide all the <topicref> containing them:

Code: Select all

*[class ~= "map/topicref"]:not([is-part]):not([is-chapter]) {
  display: none;
}

Hello Chris,

I added an improvement on our tracking system to add a visual indicator besides the text added in console.
I will let you know where the new version will be available.

Hello Will,

It seems that your XML document is a DITA topic, could you confirm?
Could you also indicate in which output does the problem occur? (PDF, WebHelp, etc.)

Re: Plugin to leave just the PDF file in the output directory?

Hello Chris,

SInce Oxygen 22.0, the PDF - HTML & CSS scenario contains a 'args.keep.output.debug.files' parameter which can be set to 'No' if you only want the final pdf in the output folder.
Is it what you were looking for?

Hello, We do not currently have translation for "continued" in polish, but you can use the following rule in your CSS customization: *[class~="topic/table"] > *[class~="topic/title"][is-repeated]:lang(pl):after(2) { content: " " "(continued)"; } Just change the "continued" word between parenthesis w...

Re: Hazard Statement Styling

Hello Piotr,

I'm sorry, I totally forgot the table checker, you may use the following CSS instead:

Code: Select all

*[class ~= "hazard-d/hazardstatement"][type = "danger"] tr:first-of-type {
  display: none;
}

*[class ~= "hazard-d/hazardstatement"][type = "danger"] {
  border: unset;
}

Re: Bookmap to PDF via CSS

Hello, Depending on your case you should have in your CSS style-sheet a selector looking like the following: *[topicrefclass~="bookmap/notices"] *[class~="topic/title"] { display: none; } To help you finding how the selectors are applied in your content you can debug the css . If you debug your css,...

Re: Showing metadata and changes in table on the front-page/before the TOC

Hello,

You can do this in the DITA Map to PDF with HTML5 and CSS transformation.
The 'oxy_xpath' CSS function allows you to get content from your metadata and use it inside your front-page.
There is more information related to this part in our user-guide.

I did the test on Oxygen current version (23.0) with DITA Map PDF - based on HTML5 & CSS and I cannot reproduce the problem: you can set the outputclass="page-break-before" on <topichead> elements.

Hello Catherine,

The DITA to MS Word plugin is not a plugin maintained by the Oxygen team, you can find more details about this plugin here.

If you have questions about how to configure and customize this output, I recommend the DITA-OT Users Group.

Hello Chris,

Starting with Oxygen 23.0 (already released), PDFs are now using version 1.5 as a default.
Also it is possible to change this version in Chemistry (using the -pdf-version parameter) as well as in DITA transformations (using the pdf.version parameter).
