Re: Multi-file Schematron architecture

Hi everyone, I was able to resolve this with Radu's help: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <schema xmlns="http://purl.oclc.org/dsdl/schematron" queryBinding="xslt2" xmlns:sqf="http://www.schematron-quickfix.com/validator/process" xmlns:saxon="http://saxon.sf.net/"> <!-- include map and topic S...

Re: Multi-file Schematron architecture

Hi everyone, I have two smaller Schematron files that I would like to include from a main Schematron file: mainfile.sch ----+----> subfile1.sch | +----> subfile2.sch Would iso:extends accomplish this? If so, can someone please post an example of the syntax and any necessary XML namespace declaration...

Re: Useful Schematron checks for DITA authoring

One of our writers got confused in the <mapref> configuration window and created a <mapref> that does not reference anything (no @keyref or @href): <mapref format="ditamap" keyscope="another_book" navtitle="another_book" processing-role="resource-only" scope="peer"/> I added the following check to c...

Re: Useful Schematron checks for DITA authoring

Some of our writers kept their Oxygen project directory in their Microsoft OneDrive folder (Windows only). Unfortunately, OneDrive's aggressive filesystem locking prevents Oxygen's Git plugin from working correctly. To resolve this, I added the following check to our map-level and topic-level Schema...

Re: Non italic math equations

It's quite strange so I looked at the MathML specs: https://www.w3.org/Math/draft-spec/mathml.html#chapter3_presm.mi Specifies the logical class of the token. The default is "normal" (non-slanted) unless the content is a single character, in which case it would be "italic". so the PDF renderer seem...

I was not able to get a simple HTML page of my own to to display under Salesforce Community, let alone a Javascript-based system like Oxygen webhelp. Re: Adding owner/contributor author metadata to DITA topic files

There was a bug with the previous script where non-<author> elements in existing <prolog> elements was discarded instead of preserved. I'm attaching an update that fixes this bug. add-author-v2.zip I plan to extend this to maps and bookmaps soon. At that point, I will provide that version in an Oxyg...

Re: Has anyone used Git submodules with the Git plugin?

We removed that warning because a submodule is many time by design in a detached HEAD state. This is what you do if the main repo and the module have different release cycles and you want to control what content gets pulled in the main repo. Hi Alex, I haven't had a chance to dig into submodules ye...

Hi JDL_CYT,

Here is a webpage where you can play around with regular expressions. I put Adrian's second example in the fields for you.

Re: Has anyone used Git submodules with the Git plugin?

Thanks Sorin, I can't wait to try the improvements! Sorry I didn't see your question about subtrees until now. For our purposes, I think submodules are more suitable. We have three Git repos of DITA documentation. Each of them has a prj/ directory that contains all our Oxygen configuration data - fr...

Re: Auto Fill date in Oxygen!

When I added the action in the Content Completion window, I saw this setting:
image.png
image.png (11.89 KiB) Viewed 676 times
How does this relate to the Filter - Remove content completion items list?
image.png
image.png (5.11 KiB) Viewed 676 times
Again, do I need both or is one preferred over the other?

How does this relate to the following activation path in the Author Action window?

Do I need both? If not, is one preferred such that I should omit the other?

Thanks!

Re: Sort glossgroup alphabetically

Hi Radu, This is also how we create our glossaries - as a single .dita file containing a <glossgroup> with many entries. The fun (?) part is that to be able to reference these glossary terms by key, we have to include key-defining <topicref>s for every term: <appendix href="ptug/glossary.dita" keys=...
