Conditioning Question
Hello: I know that you can exclude conditioned content from the final product, but is there a way to include content? For example, products A and C use some of the same information. If I condition out A, the documentation for C is missing the information that was shared by A and C. Have I missed som...

Profiling Value Conflict error message
Hi: I watched the video linked here about creating a profiling set instead of changing the XML so I could use sub-categories of an audience value: https://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/versions/ ... -text.html Now, I keep getting profiling value conflict messages. The system seems to think it's missing and ...

Re: How to show conditional text colors in PDF
Hi Radu:
Are there any updates on this feature (PDF printing that includes conditional text coloured for easy identification)? Is it available now? Was it in the latest version or is it on a roadmap for a future implementation?
Thank you.

Type attribute/topicref mismatch
Hello: I get the error message ‘W [DITA-OT] [DOTX019W]: The thpe attribute on a topicref was set to ‘concept’ but the topicref references a ‘task’ topic. This may cause your links to sort incorrectly in the output. Note that the type attribute cascades in maps, so the value ‘concept’ may cone from a...

PDF Output Issue
Hello: I have a table that has three columns. Some of the entries in the first column are included in multiple rows (<entry morerows="1">). This looks fine in WebHelp output as the page is infinitely long. In PDF output, there are some table rows that are moved to the next page, so the first column ...

Re: Alt text and KeyRefs
Okay, Radu. Thanks. :) I had actually been doing that, but because of the way we're building things, it seems like image keys are preferred. Although I guess I could use image keys in the reuse content... except, I think that puts me back to my original spot, where changing out the image leaves the ...

Alt text and KeyRefs
Hello: I have my images defined as key refs so I can swap them out. I'm wondering if there's a way to define/tie the Alt text to the image key ref, or maybe the image file, so that when I swap the image out, the alt text matches the image that's used. For example, if I have an image key ref for "new...

Creating RelTables
Hello: We've used a conversion tool to move content into oXygen. It's automatically created a dita map. The folder where my files are contains a lot of files that aren't in this dita map (which is correct). I know I can drag-and-drop from a project directly into a dita map, but because of the file v...

Re: Section Title issue
Hi Radu: Yes, it's oXygen 18.1. It seems to be working now, so maybe I did something wrong the first time? I didn't take a screenshot of text view (and it doesn't look like I had committed it), so I can't confirm exactly how things were when it wasn't working. It does have two <fig>s with <title>s a...

Re: Section Title issue
Hi Radu:
Figures can have titles: https://docs.oasis-open.org/dita/v1.0/langspec/fig.html
A title for a figure in a section shouldn't be the same as a title for a section, should it?
(Would the fact that I didn't use a section title have an impact?)
Thanks,
Stacey

Section Title issue
Hello: I get a "section should only contain one title element" message in my reference topic. I have two titles, but they're both for figures that are used in a single <li> in a <ul>. Should I be using a different element to provide a visible description of the images? Or is it a bug that only one t...

Check DITA Map for Unused Files
Hi!
Is there a way to check to see if my *.ditamap file includes all of the *.dita files in a specific folder/project/etc.
I want to confirm that I haven't left anything out before I "print".
Thanks!
