Re: can I use wildcard in "val" attribute in DITAVAL file?

Note that you can get the effect of wildcards by using a subject scheme to provide a common ancestor type over all the specific values and then use the common type value in the DITAVAL. Not as convenient as "not*" but it will work. If you use a subject scheme to do the initial definition a...

Center bookmark on screen

It would be nice if when you go to a bookmark it centered that line in the scrieen. This is the way that, for example, Textpad, behaves. I find it particularly annoying when you go to a bookmark and it's at the bottom of the screen, when what I've marked is the start of some section of code, such as...

Enhancement to XML Pretty Print

I would like to have the option of having attributes stacked under their tags. I work a lot with FO. In my XSLT code I like to put each attribute on a separate line, e.g.: <fo:block-container text-indent="2pc" font-family="Helvetica" start-indent="7pc" > At the moment, ...

Hmm. With Comic Sans MS the Chinese glyphs didn't appear at all, but if I used SimHei the rotation was correct. I don't know if this is a core Java/SWT issue--I prefer to use Arial Unicode just because I work in a wide variety of languages so I need a font that supports as many as possible. Cheers, ...

Chinese Characters Rotated in Eclipse Plug-In

When I open a document containing Chinese ideographs in the Eclipse plug-in version (latest release under Eclipse 3) the chinese characters are rotated 90 to the left. The same document opened with the latest standalone editor does not rotate the characters. For example, this data: <term_group> <gro...

You are correct--I changed the settings and DTD validation worked (almost). However, my expectation would be that if a document neither specifies xsi:schemaLocation nor has an explicilty-associated schema but does have a DOCTYPE declaration, that the DOCTYPE would be used. It's certainly incovenient...

XSLT functions in Tag Sense

I'm moving from Stylus Studio to oXygen and one thing I haven't seen in oXygen that is in Stylus is prompting with XSLT functions in tag sense. That is, if I create a select=" attribute and then type "s" and do ctrl+space, I'd want a list of all the functions that start with "s&q...

This behavior is seen with 4.1 and the very latest 4.2 versions.

Validation Against DTD Fails For No Obvious Reason

When I open documents with DOCTYPE declarations and external DTD subsets, when I validate I consistently get this type of response: http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-1/#cvc-elt E cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'user_guide'. symbian_help_test_en_2.xml file:/C:/users/MODEClient/eliot/s...
