Re: Search across multiple versions of help

Hi Syed, Unfortunately, this is not possible using the current implementation of oXygen XML WebHelp. However, as we received quite a few requests for such feature, we have already added an improvement request in our internal improvements tracking system, so this will be analyzed by our developers fo...

Re: Resetting the Figure Numbering

Hello, It is not so simple to make an older version work like the latest one, just by modifying some CSS rules. Under the hood, the latest version / maintenance build comes with improvements implemented through code lines and additional files. Therefore, it is recommended to update your oXygen XML s...

Re: Connecting to .opt file in SharePoint

Hello,

The .opt publishing template descriptor file must be local. It is not possible to use it from Sharepoint.
Therefore, one approach would be to map your Sharepoint repository to a local share drive and use the publishing template from that local drive.

Re: Headers/Footers for Backmatter, Not Frontmatter

Hi jmorales, As a general rule, if there are rules that have no impact on the output, then most probably it happens because of two possible causes: the selectors you are using are incorrect (they do not match the specific elements you intend to match), or there might be other rules that have more sp...

Re: Headers and footers

It is possible to dynamically change the header depending on the content in a topic. The following example assumes that the data to be presented in the header is located in the metadata section of each topic. One way is to specify it in the DITA map is by using the topicmeta element for the topicref...

Re: Large Headings in pdf transformation

Which transformation scenario are you using?
The DITA Map PDF based on XSL-FO, or the DITA Map PDF based on HTML5 and CSS?

As you asked about the .xsl files that style the headers, am I right in supposing you are using the XSL-FO based scenario?

Hi Anton, This is a specificity issue.
