Re: Help with Dita debug-filter build step

Re: Rendering Visio diagram in WebHelp

Hi, It is possible to embed any kind of file types in the WebHelp output. However, in order for the resulting output to also be serviceable, the internet browser that will be used to open the WebHelp should know how to handle those file types. We do not have control over how browsers render various ...

Re: Customizing WebHelp Responsive: Menu left / All chapters in TOC

Hi everyone, Just to update this thread, the patch we offered in the past does not apply anymore and is no longer needed, as we have since implemented this functionality in oXygen. Starting with version 19.1 of oXygen XML, one can now control which links to be present in the side TOC from the genera...

Re: Search excludes file not being picked up by DITA-to-webhelp transform

Hi rheath, Please note that the "webhelp.search.custom.excludes.file" parameter was made available for the oXygen WebHelp scenarios starting with version 18.1. There was no such parameter in oXygen XML v17.1. I've just tested in the latest maintenance build of oXygen XML Editor v18.1 (buil...

Re: Is Open/Find Resource available in the Eclipse Plugin?

Oh, I got it now.
Indeed, once the Open/Find Resource mechanism will be added to Eclipse, that functionality will be implicitly available.

Meanwhile, you could try the XPath/XQuery Builder as I suggested in my previous post.

Re: Is Open/Find Resource available in the Eclipse Plugin?

I guess you refer to the separate "Find All Elements" action from the Find menu in the standalone Oxygen software. As this is also not available in Eclipse, I added it to the improvement request as well. Meanwhile, a tool which you might find very useful (requires some XPath knowledge thou...

Re: Is Open/Find Resource available in the Eclipse Plugin?

Hi sanderson, The "Open/Find Resource" functionality is available in the standalone oXygen software, but it was not implemented also in the Eclipse plugin. That's because Eclipse IDE has its own "Open Resource" mechanism to find resources which have already been indexed. However,...

The transformation ran and completed successfully both ways, so I could not reproduce the issue at our side. You s...

Hi Grumish, If I correctly understood, you want to select a table cell from some "div" node(s) that is/are grandchild(ren) of the "div" element whose id is 'TabbedPanels1'. You could try something like: //div[@id='TabbedPanels1']/div/div[contains(., 'name')]/table/tbody/tr[2]/td[...

Re: Framework failure for files named "build*.xml"?

Hello, I assume that this is due to some special processing logic for ANT files. What happens is that Oxygen XML treats all files named similar to "build(+suffix).xml" as ANT build patterns, as you have figured-out yourself already, so this is why your "build.......xml" document ...

Hi again, You could create a separate ditamap which could contain the <keydef> elements. I.e, your key definitions map should look like: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <!DOCTYPE map PUBLIC "-//OASIS//DTD DITA Map//EN" "map.dtd"> <map> <title>Keydefs ma...

Re: Using linebreaks in document title on the title page

Hi, Instead using a workaround, an easier (and also more elegant) way to achieve what you need, would be to use a Bookmap instead a DITA Map. The Bookmap allows for two child elements right in the map root. One of them is "< mainbooktitle >", the other is "< booktitlealt >". The ...

Hi Lisa, Starting each top level chapter on its own page is even the current behavior for the predefined DITA Map > PDF transformation in oXygen. You should try publishing one of the bookmaps (for example "taskbook.ditamap", available in the "it-book" DITA sample) from the sample...

Let me know if the transformation successfully finalizes and you obtain the output without modifying the scenario.

It is possible to import Excel documents in oXygen using the File > Import > MS Excel File menu.
However, there is no mapping involved, so you can not import Excel documents to follow an XML schema.
