Review Tasks Overview
A review task is a shared review space where task owners and reviewers work together on content feedback.
In Oxygen Content Fusion, review tasks are used to collect feedback on content. A task owner shares content with reviewers, who open the task in a browser-based editor to read, comment, and suggest changes.
Review tasks support a focused review workflow. Instead of sending files by email, authors can share a task link and keep all comments, suggestions, and discussions in one place.
What You Can Do in a Review Task
In a review task, you can:
- Open the shared content.
- Read the documents included in the review.
- Add comments and suggestions.
- Reply to comments and join discussions.
If you create your own review task, you can also manage access and control the review workflow.
Roles in a Review Task
Within a review task, users participate through Review Task Roles.
- Owner - Manages the task, shares access, and controls the review workflow.
- Reviewer - Reviews the content, adds comments, suggests changes, and joins discussions.
Users with the Subject-Matter Expert platform user role usually participate in review tasks as reviewers. They can also create and manage their own review tasks.
