Actions, Agents, and Skills Preferences
Various settings related to AI actions can be configured in :
- Load default actions, agents, and skills
- Specifies if default provided actions, agents and skills should be loaded.
- Additional actions, agents, and skills folder
- You can use this option to specify a local folder or a comma-separated list of folders where you have stored additional actions and agents, and skills.
- Actions and agents to exclude
You can specify a comma-separated list of IDs for the actions or agents that you do not want to be loaded and presented in the list of available actions or used directly or indirectly by the add-on. Use the menu to the right of the text field to choose the actions to exclude.
To discover an action's ID, after you invoke an AI action, you can use the Actions drop-down menu in the chat view (or press
/in the chat input text area if you are using the AI Positron for Web Author) and choose to export the conversation to JSON. The JSON exported representation of the action should contain the action ID.- Embed AI Positron in Author page
- Controls whether or not the
AI Positron
drop-down widget is displayed when documents are open in the
Author visual editing mode. This drop-down list contains some
of the most useful AI actions for creating and improving the structure and content of
the current document. - Show actions as buttons in Chat view
- If selected, the AI actions are displayed in the main chat pane in addition to the other UI locations where the actions are presented.

Custom actions are loaded and shown first in the
UI
locations where the actions are presented.
