Configuring an Oracle 11g Database Connection

To configure the support for a Oracle 11g database, follow this procedure:

Go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/enterprise-edition/jdbc-112010-090769.html and download the Oracle 11g JDBC driver called ojdbc6.jar.
Configure Oracle 11g Data Source drivers.
Configure an Oracle 11g Connection.
To view your connection, go to the Data Source Explorer view (if the view is not displayed, it can be opened by selecting it from the Window > Show View menu) or switch to the Database perspective.
