Configuring a Microsoft SQL Server Connection

To configure the support for a Microsoft SQL Server database, follow this procedure:

Download the appropriate MS SQL JDBC driver from the Microsoft website: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/connect/jdbc/release-notes-for-the-jdbc-driver?view=sql-server-ver16#102.
Configure MS SQL Server Data Source drivers.
Configure a MS SQL Server Connection.
To view your connection, go to the Data Source Explorer view (if the view is not displayed, it can be opened by selecting it from the Window > Show View menu) or switch to the Database perspective.
