[oXygen-user] DocBook question

Hello,
The current DocBook version is 4.4 and we plan to integrate it in the
next version of <oXygen/>. DocBook 5.0 will not be supported before it
becomes an official OASIS specification.
DocBook NG was not released as a OASIS specification yet. From the
docbook.org site: "At the moment, it's just an exploration by Norm. It
has utterly no normative value at all."
Norman Walsh says that DocBook 5.0 is still work in progress:

"I think there are a couple of technical road blocks ahead. One is the
inability to produce any sort of DTD version of 5.0. I've been working
on that, but didn't get as much time over the recent break as I
expected. More news when I have some."
"I don't think we can move to 5.0 without reasonably adequate reference
documentation."
