[oXygen-user] <navtitle> included in PDF

I have the same issue described here, where unwanted navtitle content is 
rendered in my PDF output:

I've tried the fixes suggested by Deborah, to no avail.
I think I'm editing the right files, because I can change the label 
string (see screenshot attached).
Can anyone suggest what I'm missing?
