Hi, I am running oXygen XML Developer 13 with a trial license and I'm trying to connect to xDB 10.1.0. The instructions to create a new Data Source to xDB says to select “XHive” from the Driver Type combo box, but there is no such option, only “Generic JDBC”, “eXist”, “Berkeley DBXML”, and “XQuery API for Java(XQJ)”. Has anyone seen this before?

My guess is that you requested an Academic trial license key or a Professional one. You should request an Enterprise license key in order to have access to the Enterprise-level database sources. The xDB data source is available only in the Enterprise edition. If you want to try the Enterprise edition please contact us by email and we will send you such a license key. I will not post a license key here.

Bingo, inserting an enterprise license gave "Documentum xDB" as an option. Thanks.
