				Update to 8.0 from 7 Failed in Eclipse

				I first tried the "install updates" feature. It *claimed* to have updated, but had a "problem restoring the workspace" on restart, and now Eclipse tells me it's got oXygen installed in the "manage configuration" option, but opening an XML file doesn't start the plugin and the oXygen view is totally missing from the selections.
I deleted the oxygen plug-in completley and re-installed by downloading and un-zipping the distribution, but that doesn't work either.
Suggestions? Thanks.

				Hello,
First make sure you have the Eclipse 3.2 version, a previously version of Eclipse is not supported by 8.0 distribution.
In order to reinstall the Eclipse plugin please follow the steps:
- uninstall the oXygen plugin, make sure the the directories 'echipseDirectory/plugins/com.oxygenxml.editor_8.0.0' and 'echipseDirectory/features/com.oxygenxml.editor_8.0.0' are removed;
- reinstall the plugin using the zip or 'Site' distribution, see the install instructions from download page
http://www.oxygenxml.com/download.html;
- restart Eclipse passing a -clean command line parameter, 'eclipse.exe -clean'.
If this does not work either, try to manually remove the content of the "configuration" directory, excepting the "config.ini" file and restart the Eclipse.
After you restart Eclipse does Oxygen XML Editor appear on the 'Open With' submenu in the Package Explorer view for a XML file?

				I'm running 3.1 *sigh* and won't be able to upgrade it for a while, either.

  Thank you.
