Oxygen can't find a print service but netbeans can

Hi,

On my Linux box with a CUPS based printing system I have never managed to print from oxygen (it always comes up with a dialog that says "No print service found") and was led to believe from previous posts on the forum that this is a problem with Java 1.5. However, I can print from netbeans 4.1 which is also using the same Java runtime. Please explain this! All the software is the latest versions.

Thanks,

Mark

Hello,

It is possible that netbeans comes with Linux native support for printing. <oXygen/> is a pure Java application that uses the builtin printing support of the Java virtual machine. Can you print from other pure Java applications on the same Linux machine ? Please see

I hope that helps,
