[oXygen-user] Which words does “Document: Count Words” count?

Hello all,

Which words does “Document: Count Words” count? I would certainly hope it
doesn't count the XML markup.  Beyond that, we are using Track Changes with
author mode, and we would like not to count deleted text that is still
present (i.e., as a change to be reviewed). Does this menu item count that
or not?
