[oXygen-user] DITA: @audience = novice or expert

oXygen XML Editor Support support at oxygenxml.com

Hi Rob,

oXygen comes with a preconfigured set of profiling attribute values for
some of the built-in document types.

The "novice" and "expert" values that appear in the drop down lists are
the sample values added for DITA "audience" profiling attribute.
You can see the following explanation in the documentation tooltip that
appears when you hover the "novice" and "expert" entries from the
drop-down list:
"Sample value. You can change it from the 'Profiling/Conditional Text'
preferences page".
So, you can go to oXygen Preferences / Editor / Edit modes / Author /
Profiling/Conditional Text to redefine the audience attribute values to
match your specific needs: you can delete the "novice" and "expert"
values and add your custom "rtpDev" and "kernelDev" values.

You can read about oXygen Profiling / Conditional text support for DITA
in our online documentation:
