Hello everyone,

We are excited to announce that *version 3.2.0* of the *Oxygen Batch
Documents Converter add-on* is now available!

For the new version of the add-on, we implemented a Preferences page
that contains an option for customizing the conversions from Word (Word
to HTML/DITA/DocBook) by mapping Word styles to HTML elements, as well
as an option for choosing the maximum heading level for creating nested
topics or separate DITA topic files when converting Word/HTML to DITA.
Also, we are glad to inform you that the hierarchy level obtained in
conversions from Word/HTML to DITA maps has been improved.

Along with these major improvements, version 3.2.0 of the Oxygen Batch
Documents Converter add-on comes with the following:
* Warnings are now presented if unrecognized Word styles are found when
converting Word documents.
* All 'class' attributes are converted from the intermediary HTML into
DITA 'outputclass' attributes when processing Word to DITA.
* The file name is used as the title when the document doesn't contain
headings in Word/HTML to DITA conversions.
* The table of contents is ignored when converting Word to HTML/DITA.
* Added an 'outputclass' attribute with an "endnote" value on the 'fn'
DITA elements that resulted from Word endnotes.
* Copied relative resources into the output folder in HTML to DITA
conversions.
* Superscript and subscript are allowed when converting Markdown to DITA.
* Fixed some cases where internal references were not converted properly
in Word to HTML/DITA conversions.
* Fixed a case where equations were not converted in Word to HTML/DITA
conversions.
* Fixed an issue where a space between underline elements and other
inline elements was ignored.
* Fixed an error in HTML to XHTML conversions when processing elements
with whitespace content.

To install the add-on, follow these instructions:
1. Go to Help > Install new add-ons to open an add-on selection dialog box.
2. Enter or paste
https://www.oxygenxml.com/InstData/Addons/default/updateSite.xml in the
Show add-ons from field.
3. Select the Batch Documents Converter add-on and click Next.
4. Read the end-user license agreement. Then select the I accept all
terms of the end-user license agreement option and click Finish.
5. Restart the application.

Result: A Batch Documents Converter submenu will now be available in the
Tools menu and in the contextual menu. This submenu will contain a list
of the various types of available conversions. Selecting one of the
types of conversions will open a dialog box where you can configure
options for the conversion.

For more information on the add-on (including the alternative
installation procedure), see the details for the Oxygen Batch Documents
Converter on the page below:

We hope you will find this add-on useful and as always, your feedback is
welcome!

Best regards,
Alin
