[oXygen-user] Odd Overstruck Glyphs When Printing from Author Mode

Hello all,

I am authoring some TEI P5 XML in Oxygen and would like to print the Author
mode view. However, when i do so there are some overstruck glyphs at the
beginning and end of each line, and also at the beginning and end of text
between XML tags. These glyphs are being rendered as boxes or as boxes
containing question marks. Though i've been using other fonts in my
editor, i switched to Arial Unicode MS so that i could see what these
glyphs are. One is a curlicue appearing at the lower left of the text, and
another is a somewhat 3-like mark appearing at the upper right of the
text. What are these glyphs, why are they appearing, and how do i get rid
of them?

Thanks,
Ruchira
