Dear Linus Kamb,

When we discovered this behavior specific for Mac OS X we profiled
<oXygen/> on a Mac computer and the code executed in the time period of
no user activity is in a Java package starting with com.apple from the
Apple's core library. That means it is a problem of the Apple's Java
virtual machine and any Java application with a GUI containing a panel
with a blinking cursor will take the CPU when the user does not
interract with the GUI.

Best regards,
Sorin
