Important Notes:
- This build is meant for testing purposes only. Do not use it for production work.
- You should install this beta version in a different directory than your current Oxygen installation. For Windows, we also recommend that you disable file associations during the installation to preserve your current Oxygen file associations with the various XML file types.
- The OS X .zip distribution requires Java SE 6 from Apple, which is available here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1572
- For Linux, you need to have installed either OpenJDK 7
(http://openjdk.java.net/install/) or Java SE 8 JRE/JDK from Oracle
(http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html)
- The "All Platforms" (.tar.gz) distribution includes launchers for Mac (Oxygen XML Editor.app or oxygenMac.sh), Linux (oxygen.sh), and Windows (oxygen.bat).
