Oxygen XML Forum

Hi,

Using '<oXygen/> XML Editor 14.0, build 2012082911' trial version.

With a project open with xslt files I can not set bookmarks.
On the menu the option is greyed out.
None of the hot-keys work either (F9, Ctrl+Shift+num).

Do I have to do something to enable the use of bookmarks?

Hello,

What kind of file / document type are you trying to edit ?
Are you sure that you are in the right perspective ?
The bookmarks can be set only when in one of the Editor or Database perspectives.
My guess is that you might be either in the XSLT or XQuery perspective and this is why the bookmarks are not available (greyed out).

You can set breakpoints in these two perspective, but not bookmarks, which are specific fot the other two (Editor, Database) perspectives.

You can switch perspectives either from oXygen menu Window > Open perspective, or from their corresponding icons in the top-right corner of the tollbar (right under the window buttons).

Thank you Costin, I was in the XSLT debugger and didn't realize it didn't have all the editor capabilities.
I changed perspective and can now use bookmarks.
