Xml as TextAnnotation

Hello,

I want to annotate a xml with XML tags, but when I surround text with an element, Oxygen format the text with indentations and break the old formating.

I also wonder if it's possible to get elements with a different font size ?

Thanks

Hello,

What action are you using to surround text with an element?
Is this in Text mode or in Author mode?
Can you please provide more details?

I've checked in Text mode with the action Refactoring > Surround with Tags (Ctrl+E) and it doesn't seem to break the formatting.

The font size in Text mode is global(for the entire content). However you can independently set the foreground color, background color and style(bold/italic) for each type of XML component. This can be configured in Options > Preferences, Editor > Colors, XML > Tag

Adrian

I select text and click on one of the suggested elements of the element view.

Hi,

It seems there is a bug that causes the the next line to be indented when surrounding the selected text by double clicking an element from the Elements view.
I have logged this to our issue tracking tool and it will be resolved in a future version of Oxygen.

Meanwhile, if this bug bothers you, as a workaround I recommend using Surround with Tags (Ctrl+E).

Adrian
