oXygen v13.2 Broken Customization

I upgraded to v13.2 on Monday and was starting to use it today. The first thing I am noticing is that some of my customizations are being ignored in the PDF output using FOP. It isn't all reverted back, but note icons, footers etc have reverted. Is there a known issues around this, or did the DITA-OT change in some way around this?
I have downgraded back to 13.1 and everything is back to normal.
Thanks,
Dave C.

Hi Dave,
You can install Oxygen 13.2 side by side with 13.1.
Oxygen 13.2 comes with DITA OT 1.5.4 while Oxygen 13.1 came with DITA OT 1.5.3.
Did you have your customizations in a separate folder or directly in the DITA OT bundled with Oxygen 13.1?
Did you apply your customizations to the new DITA OT?
Indeed new versions of the DITA OT have modified stylesheets so it is possible that some XSLT customizations might have to be re-worked to work with DITA OT 1.5.4.
Usually in such cases my advice is to have a DITA OT directory located outside of the Program Files (you can copy the one bundled with Oxygen 13.1) and in the transformation scenarios reference that external DITA OT:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/doc/ug-oxygen/ ... ta-ot.html
In this way you would be able to use the latest Oxygen version but with a custom DITA OT installation.

Radu

Hi Radu,
I do have my customization separate from the DITA-OT folder. I tried installing 13.2 next to 13.1 and referencing the DITA-OT separately and everything is looking good now. I was hoping there was an easy answer to what changed in 1.5.4 of DITA-OT so that I don't have to spend days trolling through my customization and the DITA-OT for differences.
Thanks for your help!

Hi Dave,
Not an easy answer I'm afraid, you could use the Diff Directories utility which comes with Oxygen (in the Tools menu) to compare the OXYGEN_INSTALL_DIR/frameworks/dita/DITA-OT/demo directory from both Oxygen 13.2 and 13.1 installations.
