Hi Jean,

There is no current special integration between Oxygen and Alfresco.
But Oxygen has WebDav support so it could be used to edit files directly from the Alfresco CMS.

From what I remember that I tested a while ago you can also check out files using the Alfresco Web user interface directly on disk, edit them with Oxygen and then check them in using the Alfresco UI.

We have a finalized integration with Bluestream XDocs.
Other CMSs (Vasont, Astoria, RSuite DocZone) have projects under way to integrate with Oxygen.

The best thing would be to ask the CMS vendors about such integrations, they might have more details about the availability of such solutions.

Regards,
Radu

Hi Radu,

When i select file ditamap under Alfresco, file is open with Oxygen
When i modified file, windows save as is open , She asks me where I want to save the file. How is that the modification is made in Alfresco?

Hi Jean,

If you make changes to an XML file located on the local drive and then when saving in Oxygen, Oxygen presents a "Save As" dialog, this means that the file is marked as read-only on disk and thus cannot be saved to until the flag is cleared externally.
Probably the Alfresco Web CMS marks the fils as read-only when downloading it to disk because you chose to view the file instead of editing it or maybe you needed to check out the file first.

Radu
