Hello,

I may be wrong, but as far as I remember, XML files were validated against W3C schema on-the-fly in earlier versions of OxygenXML Editor, that means, they were revalidated every time I stopped typing for a few moments.

If I'm not wrong, then this feature seems to be broken with version 12.0.

It would be nice if you could give us more details like:

What type of Oxygen installation are you using: the standalone or the Eclipse plugin version?
In the Oxygen Preferences->Editor / Document Checking page there is an Automatic validation checkbox which should be checked by default. You also have a delay for validtion which should not be set to a very high value.

Is the schema you are using for validation remote or is it local on the computer?
If you are using the manual validation, does everything work properly?
Are you using a custom validation scenario for that particular XML file?
