I am using Berkeley DBXML version 2.5.13 and doing Xqueries on a database with Oxygen 11.0 (also with Oxygen10.3). Things work fine sometimes then all of a sudden when I push the query button to apply a transformation (do an Xquery on the dbxml database) it just sits there with "Transformation in progress." showing in the status bar. It can sit there for hours when the query used to take a few seeconds before. Stopping the query usually doesn't work and I have to exit Oxygen. Starting Oxygen again usually leaves me in the same state, ie the query won't run. Sometimes I can get things to work again, maybe by Configuring the database source again, but it's not clear when and what causes the recovery. I can access the database from php web pages successfully so this seems like an Oxygen problem.


Has anyone seen behavior like this and know what the problem is?

It's possible that this is caused by the verbosity level from the Berkeley connection being set to DEBUG.
So the first thing to try is to edit the Berkeley connection and make sure that its verbosity level is set to ERROR.
