I like to use Oxygen's "Format and Indent Element" tool, however I am disappointed that line breaking happens 'mid element'.

I ideally want a single element and all of its attributes to appear on a single line unbroken.

I have looked in "Options > Preferences > Editor > Format > XML" but I'm not sure which setting to tweak. Any advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately it isn't currently possible with the available options to format an element and let it span over a single unbroken line.

The only workaround I can suggest is to increase the line width(Options -> Preferences -> Editor -> Format, Line width) to a larger size so that elements would fit in that width. However this will affect the formatting of the entire document(especially text), not just elements so it's not that useful.

We will consider adding an option that allows this in a future version of Oxygen.
