Help installing Windows Help File Plugin

Hi,
I am new to using OxygenXML and want to publish the documentation I create using DITA to a Windows Help file. I was wondering if publishing content to Windows Help format required installing the plug-in and selecting Windows Help format for the DITA-OT output choices?

Thanks,
Altein

Hi Altein,

Just open a DITA Map in the Oxygen DITA Maps Manager view, press the "Configure Transformation Scenario" toolbar button from the view, create a new "HTML Help" transformation scenario and execute it.

If you have installed HTML Help Workshop, <oXygen/> detects and use this. At the end of the transformation the chm file will be open. Otherwise an error message is displayed, but the hhp(HTML Help Project) file will be generated and you have to compile to obtain a chm file.

Radu
