Metadata Query - change history

Hi There:

I recently discovered the <change-historylist> (and subordinate) tags. From what I can tell, this is a running list of updates to a document or specific topics. It seems like it could be useful, but it also seems like it's internal? I couldn't find a way to "print" the information to webhelp/PDF outputs. Is there a parameter I'm overlooking? Or something else I need to to try?
Would this group of elements apply to a change history list for a product being documented, or is it specifically for updates to documentation about those products? If it's just for documentation, what elements are recommended for release notes for products themselves? (I hope that wasn't too confusing.)
Thanks!

Hello Stacey, the DITA-OT does not support what you explained. But I had the same idea and wrote a plug-in. You can find it here: https://github.com/stefan-jung/org.jung.release-notes

If you have questions or requirements, open a Github issue, please. I am not monitoring all posts in this forum.

Hello Stacey,

I added an improvement for each PDF and WebHelp output.
I will notify this thread when it will be available in Oxygen.
