Serious UI gotcha in Oxygen XML Editor 24.0

When using ctrl-e to surround the current selection with tags, I occasionally hit ctrl-w by mistake, which is the shortcut for 'close file'. This brings up a confirmation dialog asking if I want to save the file before closing. Pressing escape on this should be interpreted as 'cancel', but is instead interpreted as 'no', resulting in the file being closed without saving.

Hi,
Thanks for the report!
I can no longer reproduce this problem with Oxygen 26.0.
Looking at our past issues list, this particular issue seems to have been fixed in Oxygen 25.0. So maybe if your license allows you can consider upgrading to a newer Oxygen version.

Hello,
v24.0 is no longer maintained or supported. It has been replaced by v24.1 (free upgrade from v24.0).
I can't reproduce the issue with v24.1. You can find the latest maintenance update of v24.1 here:
