Excel pasting oddity

Using the latest version of oXygen Editor 25.1, and also with the ixiasoft web client which is using the oXygen web client, we're seeing an odd behavior with Excel data. You can copy and paste a full table into oXygen and the web client with no issues. However if you only need to copy a few cells and try to overwrite those in oXygen, instead of overwriting them, it pastes the new cells at the end of the table. This is happening in both standalone oXygen and the web client. Is there a better way to copy selected data from an updated Excel spreadsheet and paste that into a DITA topic where only a limited number of cells need updating?
