Webhelp search removes the plus sign when searching for keyboard shortcuts

Hi,
When searching for keyboard shortcuts such as Ctrl+Shift+A in a responsive webhelp, the + sign is replaced by whitespace. This causes the search results to show any topics that have Ctrl and/or Shift, and not necessarily the topics with the string Ctrl+Shift+A. I tried using quotation marks and a few other combinations, but the + sign is always replaced.
I understand the + is a special sign, but is there a way to search for keyboard shortcuts and get more accurate results?
Thanks,
Grethel.
