Open document without xinclude expansion/resolution

Hi,

We have very large documents with hundreds of xincludes. For the most part these documents have not real content other than the xinclude references and we edit them to add new references to new content or reorder existing references. However, opening these documents takes significant time and it would be helpful to speed this process up. Is there a setting to open a doc without resolving xincludes to reduce open time? Similarly, is there a way to open a document in text mode rather than in author mode?

Steve

Hi Steve,

In the Oxygen Preferences->"Editor / Edit Modes / Author" page there is a "Display referenced content" checkbox.
Also in the Preferences->"Editor / Edit Modes" page there is a checkbox which can be unchecked if you want the DocBook docs to be opened by default in Text mode.
