I'm using Oxygen 7.1 on Mac OS X 10.4.6 and under the Tools menu there is no menu item for 'Generate Sample XML Files.' Is this correct? Why is this menu item missing?

The support for generating sample instances was added in version 7.2 so just download and install that from our download page.
