Attribute "" is not allowed to appear in element "step"

Hi,

I'm having a problem with what seems to be the step element and certain attributes, namely, id, conref and product.

All are throwing errors. My colleagues are running the same version of Oxygen and using the same code free of these errors. Therefore, I can only assume
these errors are configuration related? I appreciate any help in advance!

Hi,

Do these type of errors get reported when editing or when publishing content? Do you have any custom changes that you made to the DITA editing or publishing functionality?
Could you give us a screenshot or two with how the reported errors look like on your side? Also maybe a small sample DITA project and a set of steps to reproduce the issue on our side.... you can use our support@oxygenxml.com email address if you want to contact us directly.

Regards,
Radu

The errors are available in editing mode and also validating. I've looked through all of the configurations and I can't find anything to identify
why this might be occuring??

Hello,

Do you work with the default DITA framework, have you edited it in any way (maybe in the Validation tab) or do you have a DITA extension?

Also, please post a screenshot of the entire XML or send the document to our support e-mail address.

Hi Sorin,

I fixed the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling Oxygen. Everything seems to be working now.
Thanks for all your help.
