Selecting search results hides preceeding markup

When I perform a Find All search the results appear in a pane at the bottom of my screen. When I click or double-click the results, it displays the search result that I clicked in the text area above the results panel. This is expected behavior.
The problem is that it usually places the result and my insertion point at the very top of the text area so that I can't see the preceding markup, which I often have to do to make a decision about how to handle it.
How can I make it place the result in the center of the viewing area so that I do not have to use the scroll bar to see the preceeding (or following) markup? This will save lots of time when doing extensive search and repair operations.
Thanks
