Our Sys Eng team wants to set up automated webhelp builds with Bamboo. I'm currently producing our webhelp using a customized version of the DITA-OT webhelp plugin in Oxygen Editor. Do we need to purchase an Editor copy for Bamboo in order to duplicate my customized output or will an Author or Developer license suffice?

Hi,

We are not very familiar with Bamboo, we are using the Jenkins open source automation server internally.
Our WebHelp generation plugin is free to use from inside Oxygen but if you want to set it up using an automated server there is a special license you would need to buy for it:

At past jobs we've been able to buy a floating license for Jenkins to use XML Editor to automate builds. Has that changed?

Hi,

This was probably before we published the WebHelp as a separate product. Right now, if you want to automate WebHelp you would need to get the separate WebHelp license.
