Hi,
I'd like to know how Named-User license works.
Let's say I purchased a named-user license for Oxygen. Can it be transferred to another user if the original user leaves?
Regards,
Mico

Hello,
One named user license allows only one specified user to use the application and it cannot be shared between more users.
This license is "
Named User"-based not computer-based, so one purchased license entitles the named user to install and use any distribution of
oXygen, on any platform, on any machine (PC, laptop) as long as only the named user will use that license. Therefore, 1 User-based license entitles you to install
oXygen on all your machines.
Please see points
1.c and
2.3 from
oXygen EULA:
http://www.oxygenxml.com/eula.html
This licenses cannot be dynamically transferred. In some special circumstances (e.g. when an employee leaves the company) it can be transfer to another employee of the same company. Of course, the previous Named User must uninstall the application and cease to use
oXygen XML.
Let us know if you need further assistance.
Regards,
Ionela
