What is the status of XSD 1.1?
Can we expect any further major changes to the specification?
Are the new assertions and conditional type assignment taken into account by oXygen when creating XML instances from an XSD?

From what I know once a specification is adopted it can only suffer very little changes, erratas, documentation corrections but nothing substantial.
Are the new assertions and conditional type assignment taken into account by oXygen when creating XML instances from an XSD?
We support XML Schema 1.1 fully for editing and validating instances. For generating random XML instances from XML Schema 1.1 we support only part of the features like "open content". But we do not support more complex features assertions. We have an issue opened for this and I will add your vote for it, this is something quite hard to implement though.
