Saxon 9.4 has some very interesting features compared to 9.3. Is the new version of Saxon going to be a part of oXygen any time soon?
(I tried just to replace the saxon jar files in /lib but that did not work)

Hi,
We originally wanted to integrate Saxon 9.4 with Oxygen 13.2 but we run into some Saxon bugs which were addressed after the 13.2 was released.
Oxygen 14 which will be available this year (in summer or autumn) will most probably contain Saxon 9.4 (or newer, of course).

Radu

OK. At first, I was not able to add Saxon 9.4 as an external XSLT engine, because I did not know, that these are not available in XSLT debugging perspective. After reading this in help, I am able at least to call it from transformation scenarios, which is better than nothing. But anyway, if there were some possibility of running it also from the debugging perspective sooner than in half a year, it would be nice, so please, notify if this becomes possible.

Hi,
Oxygen 13.2 is the last of the 13.x releases and a major release usually needs about 6 months to prepare...
But, would you be willing to test an Oxygen 14 beta + Saxon 9.4? If so, please contact us directly using
support@oxygenxml.com.
