Using Saxon 9.0-B processor

For Oxygen 9.0, if I configure it to use Saxon 9.0-B (from the Saxonica.com web site), will this externally configured XSLT processor work the same exact way as the pre-configured bundled Saxon85A XSLT processor?

I'm asking because I don't want any unexpected surprises when I move from the built-in pre-configured Saxon XSLT processor to the most up-to-date Saxon 9.0-B processor.

Hello,

It will generate the same result of the transformation both as a built-in processor and as an external one as when you run it from the command line. The only difference is that an external processor cannot be used in the Debugger perspective for debugging the transformation.

Version 9.1 which will be released in December will include Saxon 9. Version 9.0 includes Saxon 8.9.

Regards,
Sorin

If I purchase Oxygen 9.0 this week, will I get Oxygen 9.1 as a free upgrade?

Otherwise I'll just wait for Oxygen 9.1 to ship.

I found the answer, which is "yes".

Thanks.
