Hello,

I'm trying to produce a DTIA document and I need to use the "&" character as plain text but the same character is also used as a tag and so I receive an error. How can I insert the character as text?

Hi,

If you are editing in Author mode, Oxygen will automatically escape XML special characters for you as you type or paste them. So even though you type &, it will appear as & in Text mode.
If you are working in Text mode, you will have to escape them. You can select the text in the editor (make sure there are no tags), right click on the selection and from the contextual menu use Source > Escape Selection, and press OK.
