Hi,
we use Oxygen XML Author to work with DocBook 5. We use the Stylesheets that are shipped with Oxygen Author. Could we use them to prodice Output for Oxygen Feedback (Cloud Edition)?
Thanks,
Frank

Hello,
Oxygen Feedback can be installed on any HTML website.
For the
WebHelp Classic output generated from
Docbook sources you must follow these steps:
- Obtain the Oxygen Feedback installation fragment using the procedure described in this topic.
- Save the installation fragment to a file on your local disk.
- Edit your custom Docbook WebHelp Classic tranformation scenario.
- Go to the Parameters tab.
- Set the webhelp.footer.file paramter to the absolute path of the file created at step 2.
- Run the Docbook WebHelp Classic tranformation.
Note:: Your WebHelp Classic output must be deployed on a HTTP server and loaded using the
http or
https protocols in order for the Oxygen Feedback component to be loaded on the HTML pages.
Here is how Oxygen Feedback should look like on a WebHelp Classic output page:

Thank you Alin.
I see that WebHelp for DocBook is deprecated in Oxygen 26. Can i conclude that Oxygen Feedback will be available for DITA alone in the future, and not for DocBook anymore?
Thanks, Frank

Hello,
I see that WebHelp for DocBook is deprecated in Oxygen 26.
This means that the support of transforming DocBook content to WebHelp is possible to be removed in the future versions of Oxygen.
Technically, Oxygen Feedback can be installed on any HTML site. As long as WebHelp (HTML) content can be obtained from DocBook Oxygen Feedback can be embedded in that output.

Alin
