Hi,

Several of our SMEs tried to submit edits to topics in WebAuthor and got a "Submit failed" message.

As far as I know, there was nothing special. SME would open a topic in WebAuthor following an Edit Online link from PDF, check it out (we are using Perforce), add comment/make changes and then try to submit and fail with the "Submit failed" message.

Any idea what could be the cause of this?

To find more information about the cause of the error you could try looking in the server logs [1].
