Hide New Configure DITA Context Button

Hi,

We would like the ability to hide the new Configure DITA Context button that was introduced in Web Author 26.1, as in the following example:
image.png

None of our projects are using DITA Projects, and while we are using DITAVALs to produce platform specific deliverables, we would rather have our users use the new Filter button instead. Additionally, we don't want users to be able to disable/turn off the default selection of "Show excluded content".

Therefore, we think that it would ultimately be a friendlier experience for our users if the Configure DITA Context button did not display. Upon investigating how to do this, it looks like Dita/ConfigureContext action ID is not registered to the editor, therefore, I've been unable to unregister it like other toolbar buttons.

Is there anyway we can disable this button?

Thanks!

Daniel

Hello,

We registered a feature request (WA-7283) in this regard and we will return with details.
Thank you for your understanding.

Best,

Hello,

With the hiding of the 'Configure DITA Context' button, do you believe this informational message is still useful?

We highlighted the message with that red line. This message appears when you unckeck the box Show excluded content

Best,
